Cole Joined Stoke?

The Deputy Sports Editor for The London Evening Standard has posted on twitter that Cole is "off to Stoke done deal - more details in today's standard". He also tweeted that Cole will no be joining West Ham in their Pre-Season Training in Switzerland.

Is this a legit claim, would it be a great deal for Stoke. There is no denying he would do well at Stoke and Stoke will do well for him, but what about Jones? Does this mean the end for Jones at Stoke or does Tony have a trick up his sleeve.
