11 Days Left. Can Stoke Get Anymore?

There are only 11 days left in the transfer window, so what will Tony Pulis do to fill in the gaps in the Stoke squad?

Stoke have got into Europe for the first time since 1974. Which adds a minimum of 4 extra games to their domestic campaign, and then an extra 6 if they qualify for the group stage.
All this will tire they squad and put strain on Stoke's squad for the domestic campaigns. Tony knows he needs more players to fill the experience levels required to survive in Europe.

He has already bought two experienced center-backs. Both playing for England. Johnathan Woodgate and Matthew Upson. Both players were brought into the squad on free transfers. Which hopefully will be two amazing deals, if Upson performs at his best and Woodgate doesn't get injured.
These signings will definitively help the team in Europe and in England. Providing experience and competition for games with Ryan Shawcross and Robert Huth being claimed as the best center-back partnership of last season. Now we have four amazing center-backs fighting for position.
Now with the defence filed out, Pulis needs to focus in bringing in two more center midfielders and strikers.
There has been interest in Tottenham's Palacios and West Ham's Scott Parker to fill those positions but both hitting a stand still. The Palacios deal has slowed down and can only be completed if Tottenham manage to buy Real Madrid's Lassana Diarra.
Diarra looks to be moving to Tottenham very soon with a major breakthrough recently. And for Scott Parker, he has been put of joining Stoke because of interest of big clubs, like Chelsea. He is valued at £8m and Pulis should jump on the deal if Diarra doesn't move to Spurs.

Right at the start of the transfer window, Stoke managed to get West Ham to agree for Cole to join but the deal stopped with Peter Coates going on TV just before the deal was completed saying that Cole was a risky deal with his past injuries. I didn't see him do that when we got Woodgate. He could of snapped John's hand off when the deal was completed.

So Cole refused to join and said he was loyal to West Ham. Since then Pulis has looked ta other striking possibilities but two has stood out for him and the public as possible deals. A double signing of Palacios and Peter Crouch, and Bendtner.
With Palacios looking to join Stoke as he has dropped down the pecking order at Spurs. With Modric and the arrivial of Rafel van der Vaart. But the double deal then stops at Peter Crouch. With his high wage demands and his hopes of staying at White Hart Land or Souther England, he doesn't with to move to Stoke.
But Pulis hasn't given up and is in constant talks with Spurs trying to get them to persuade Peter to re-consider.Bendtner is a want-away Arsenal player after dropping down the pecking order at Arsenal. With him saying, 'I've considered this for a long time and was quite clear when I arrived at my decision. I'm quite calm and confident that I'll be fine at a new club.' Pulis needs to jump on this deal soon before it's too late.
