Jon Walters Extends His Contract At Stoke

Stoke City striker Jon Walters has agreed a one-year contract extension at the Britannia Stadium.
Walters has established himself as a key member of Tony Pulis' squad since arriving from Ipswich last summer.
The 27-year-old finished last season as the club's joint leading scorer last term, with 12 goals helping the club reach the FA Cup final.
Stoke have rewarded Walters with a new deal to keep him at the club until 2015 and Pulis believes the player deserves his contract extension.
"I'm very pleased for Jon because he's come in as a lower-league player and established himself to play a part in the Premier League. In fact, he's done more than that," Pulis told the Stoke Sentinel.
"We're very pleased he's agreed a new deal and made sure his long-term future lies with us."
